here comes the sleep train

hop aboard the last train to new slumberton -- this edition of the secret comics stays up way past its bedtime -- and it shows... maybe.  metal is feeling fairly self-conscious, so please just ignore him

on the upside though, he had a delicious cranberry orange scone with lunch and dinner today (half and half), but, um, you won't hear about that on the podcast.  because it's exclusive content, you see.   a scoop.  tomorrow it's a veggie bbq sandwich for lunch.  again!  will he be talked into more choward's violet mints?  will they finally have the delicious all-citrus scone available for purchase, the one with no cranberries to get in the way of the zesty deliciousness?  stay tuned!

so... are the mints really that terrible?  well not really, and totally not at first, anyway... look, you'll hear all about it inside.  but not about how i totally got "suggested-sold" into buying said mints by the lovely folks at jo's coffee shop (downtown)

upon further reflection, maybe the whole "suggested-sell" thing is why i'm hell-bent on liking them... are the mints and i TOTALLY MEANT TO BE?
